Christmas in "Black Tie" style.....

"Only 55 Sleeps left till "Ho Ho"! I decided to try and stay clear of "traditional colours" while I was creating tonight and have to say I really like the "Black & White" for a change! It really is time now to get things happening for Chrissy because it's going to be here before we know it!!

Father's Day Card idea "Sneak Peek" new Stampin' Up! product!

Love having all the new product from Stampin' Up! New idea book and catty to create with the "Pennant Parade" stamp set and the matching "Petite Pennants Builder Punch" have potential for all sorts of ideas! One of the new products coming soon is also very versatile as well! I made this card and liked it so much i didn't give it to anyone on Father's Day! I made another faster version instead!

Stampin' Up new product "Sneak Peek" - Baby Boy & Baby Girl card ideas

Love the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!! We get to play with new product sometimes before everyone else!! This new one is very exciting and versatile too! These cards were "cased" and inspired by the talented Jackie Topa who shares very creative ideas on "splitcoast".

Stampin' Up! Merry & Type - 106 sleeps till Ho Ho....

This new Stampin' Up! Christmas set had me rattled for awhile! I wasn't happy just to colour it in - it didn't seem to "pop" or anything! Anyway I got an idea to "boldly emboss it" and this is the result! I quite like it! At least it's different!! Only 106 sleeps till Christmas!!! I think i can hear very distant sleigh bells ringing - or is it just my ears???

Stampin' Up sneak peek new product - Petite Pocket In Colour Bear Gift Card Holders

I love "Punch Art" but my absolute favourite are my bears! They go with every ocassion and are easy to make! So is the new Stampin' Up Petite Pocket Die. These days I find I give alot of gift cards because everyone seems to have everything just about and the shops charge between $6-$8 just for a gift card holder!! Not the "gift card"! I will happily (and easily) be making my own now!!

Whilst I have been playing with my new Stampin' Up products this weekend - i was checking out new product ideas on Splitcoast and came across a "layered markering" technique! Fantastic fun with markers beats the plain old "colouring in" by far. I actually want to colour in now!

Stampin' Up Birthday Bakery in Mosaic

I love "Mosaic" style whether it be in tiles and grout or cardstock and adhesive - the effect is always a "popper"!! Love these bright & cheery colours especially with all the "RAIN" we've had all week!!

Stampin' Up Sneak Peek Projects - from new catalogue available September 1.

Just like kids we just have to play with new "toys" if we are lucky enough to have them. I was lucky enough at "Convention" to win some of the new products coming out in the new Stampin' Up catalogue on September 1. Can't wait to actually see the new IB&C but in the meantime I can enjoy some of the new DSP and stamp sets.

Watercoloured Cards - Stampin' Up, Summer by the Sea (retired)

This is my first attempt at watercolouring, I must still have that "Beatrix Potter" fever - I've moved from farm animals to watercolours!! Anyway I must say I really enjoyed it!! I have had this beautiful Stampin' Up "Summer by the Sea" stamp set for quite some time but it is an old favourite and I have only ever "chalk coloured" it but now I have finally watercoloured it and I must say I prefer it done this way! I love the little verse on the two children's cards - I "cased" the verse from a card I saw on splitcoast and thought it really suited these cards.

Four More Little Pigs - Stampin' Up

I must have Beatrix Potter fever today - I have "pigs running amuck in my head" so anyway here's another two piggy creations I came up with!

Stampin' Up Three Little Wishes Birthday Card

I came up with my "three little wishes" card because I have just recently bought the Stampin' Up Brights Designer Buttons to play with and they go well with Celebrations DSP.  The Christmas card was obviously a spin off from the birthday card. Quick, easy and fun!!

Thanks "Dotty Decor" I love the marker rolls you made for me!!

A big thank you - Dotty Decor - for making my beautiful marker rolls to put my Stampin' Write Markers in!! They are perfect! I loved picking my favourites materials from your wonderful selection of designer fabrics. So to thank you I made you a Dotty Decor Stationery Box filled with personalised "thank you" cards for your business. I know you are too busy sewing and filling your orders to have much time to make your own so I hope you like these!! The cards were actually quite quick and easy with my new Stampin' Up Movers & Shapers die.

Birthday Gift Set made with Stampin' Up Big shot & Punches

It was my friend's birthday the other day and I was having one of those "tight budget" type weeks so I bought two chocolate bars and made the rest of the present with Stampin' Up products!! Even the flowers! So that also saved my purse and she loved the whole gift set!!

Stampin' Up Sock Monkey - Christmas Jolly Holiday designer series paper

It's "181 sleeps" till Christmas!! Hope that didn't frighten anyone!! Anyhow I am so proud of myself for actually starting making my Christmas cards in June. I have NEVER made any of my Christmas ideas before December and usually by the time I have made them they get posted a couple of days before the public holidays. My resolution is to keep going on these projects at least twice a month till they are completed by November!! I luv Stampin' Ups' Sock Monkey and the Jolly Holiday DSP is always easy to coordinate. I also mounted my new set of "delightful decorations" to play with. I will be posting up the countdown of "sleeps till Christmas" with each diffent idea i post. Can't hear sleigh bells yet!!

Stampin' Up Punch Art Cars, birthday, father's day & valentine.

I really enjoyed making these male cards, there is just not as many options for males as there are for female cards!! Am really into using Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks from Stampin' Up at the moment as well they are really beautiful and so easy to co-ordinate because they only have the colour you really want and need to put with your projects. The specialty papers are great too but they usually have too many colours on the one sheet to deal with at once. I'm gonna buy all the paper stacks now!!
